Frequently asked questions

Does the Network Accept all churches?

While we agree that secondary and tertiary issues still carry incredible importance that bring necessary distinctions to our various denominations and ministries, the Northshore Gospel Network has prayerfully chosen to base its affiliation on one theological and two missiological convictions.

Theologically, we are "gospel-centered", believing that all are sinful and separated from God but can be declared righteous through repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus' death and resurrection in our place rather than trusting in anything we can accomplish in our own power.

Through that gospel-centered lens, we hold to two missiological commitment. Every member of the network is committed to an outward-facing, evangelistic ministry as they look for contextually-specific ways to share the good news of Jesus Christ with their community. Secondly, every network church also shares a commitment to robust discipleship within their congregation, developing and deploying systems and care to see every member increasingly "conformed to the image of the Son" (Romans 8:29).

How do I join the network?

Partnership with the Northshore Gospel Network begins with relationship. We encourage any interested pastors to join us at our monthly, Last Wednesday Pastors' Prayer Lunch or reach out through the Get Connected page of our website and meet with one of our other pastors for coffee or a meal. We would love to discuss our distinctives, common commitment to evangelism and discipleship, and the processes of joining the network with you.

Is there a financial requirement?

There is no financial requirement to join the Northshore Gospel Network, but there will be multiple opportunities to utilize your congregation's resources alongside other local churches in the collaborative work we do together in our community. Currently, any expenses are being assumed individually by the various churches within the network rather than collectively through a single bank account.

What does participation look like?

We are using the rest of 2025 to develop the ongoing rhythms where pastors will be able to connect, equip one another for our ongoing ministry, discuss the unique needs of the Northshore, and plan ways our churches might collaborate together for gospel saturation. As these conversations continue, we invite you to join us for our monthly Pastors' Prayer Lunch from 12pm-1pm on the last Wednesday of each month for fellowship and a concentrated time of prayer for the lost.
